• Are these the only designs you offer?

  No, this is only a sample of what we can do.  We have a large portfolio of designs to at the bakery as well of many display cakes. And, if you don’t see something that suits you, we are happy to work with you to design something unique!

• Do you have cakes that I can pick-up today or do I have to place an order?

  We keep basic decorated 8-inch round 1/4 sheet cakes in white and chocolate our showcase. As well as 8-inch round dessert cakes. But, if you want something specific, you need to place an order.

• I want to order a custom tier cake for my party? How do I do that?

  Please stop by the bakery or give us a call. We can answer simple questions via email, but taking custom orders must be done verbally. We just have too many questions to do it via email. And, always give us your budget so we know where to lead you in design. You can always send us your inspiration too and then give us a call. That is very helpful when we design a custom order.

• How far in advance do I need to order my tier cake?

  We always ask for at least 4 -7 days for tiered cakes. We will book out on some weekends, holidays and especially at graduation time in May. So, order early at those times. Give us a call to check on availability.

• Is it hard to transport a tiered cake?

  Not if you follow our guidelines. Come to the bakery in an appropriate vehicle…an SUV, van or other vehicle with lots of room and a flat space for the cake. We will place it in your vehicle with a small “grippy” mat under the box. This will keep the cake from sliding when you stop or turn. We never want anyone to hold the cake and it can not be placed on a seat. Some cakes can not be boxed and most are only boxed on the bottom (no  lid). It is much safer for the cake that way. You can drive the normal speed limit and normal bumps in the road are fine…just no sudden stops…and breathe, it will be just fine.

• I see a cake I like, but I want to change the design just a little. Can I do that?

  Sure you can! We do that all the time. You can even combine elements on different cakes. Just be as specific as possible. We can take any design that we have already done and customize it for your event. We love to do new designs and add cakes to our portfolio. That makes decorating so much fun!

• I need a cake but don’t care how it is decorated. Can you just design something for me?

  Sure we can! We do that all the time on 8-inch rounds and sheet cakes. Just give us some basic information…who it is for, the occasion, or colors that would be appropriate.  We call that “decorators choice”. The decorator designated for your order will come up with a design the she or he thinks appropriate. But remember, cake decorating is an art form and is as subjective as any other form of art.  If you have something specific in mind, let us know. We want you to love the final product.

• What if I have allergies?

  Many of the products baked at Cheri’s Bakery contain wheat flour, milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, and soy ingredients. All of our products are mixed on shared equipment and packaged in such a way that they may come in contact with any of these known food allergens. If you have an allergy to any of these ingredients, we recommend you not consume any of our products. If you have any questions or concerns regarding allergens, please call the bakery.
